Hardy CC De France, 8ft, complete with original bag and ferrule plug. Fully restored.

This ‘E’ numbered Hardy Cc De France has been fully restored with new whippings throughout, new snake guides made in house using blued nickel silver, original top and butt agate guides cleaned, polished and straightened. Cork cleaned and reel seat polished.

There are some scuffs on the reel seat butt cap, which I chose to polish, rather than find a replacement part.

I am very pleased with the look and feel of this rod, it handles a long #5 line comfortably and holds up well as part of the range designed for the Casting Club of France. The E serial number puts the rod firmly in the mid 1950s, and in my experience the E numbered Hardy rods are the best of their output.

You will be very hard pressed to find one in this condition anywhere else.
